Creating and Ethernet VLAN Essay Creating and Ethernet VLAN Essay Creating an Ethernet VLAN (For use with MI424WR Rev A-D, Firmware 4.0.16.1.56.0.10.11) This document provides directions for creating a VLAN, and dedicating one Ethernet port on the MI424WRââ¬â¢s built in switch for its use. Part 1 ââ¬â Creating the VLAN Ethernet Interface 1. Login to the BHR and navigate to ââ¬ËMy Networkââ¬â¢ then ââ¬ËNetwork Connectionsââ¬â¢ 2. At the bottom of the ââ¬ËRule Nameââ¬â¢ column click the red ââ¬ËAddââ¬â¢ 3. Select the underlying device, normally, ââ¬ËNetwork (Home/Office)ââ¬â¢ and click ââ¬ËNextââ¬â¢ 4. Assign the VLAN an ID, can be any number between 1 and 4094 and click ââ¬ËNextââ¬â¢ 5. On the Summary, add a check-mark for ââ¬ËEdit the Newly Created Connectionââ¬â¢ and click ââ¬ËFinishââ¬â¢ 6. On the new connection, at Internet Protocol, select ââ¬ËUse the following IP Addressââ¬â¢ and enter a LAN IP address for this interface a. (example) IP Address ââ¬â 10.0.0.1 b. (example) Subnet Mask ââ¬â 255.255.255.0 7. At DNS Server, select ââ¬ËUse the following DNS Server Addressesââ¬â¢ a. (example) Primary ââ¬â 4.2.2.1 b. (example) Secondary ââ¬â 4.2.2.2 8. At IP Address Distribution, select ââ¬ËDHCP Serverââ¬â¢ a. (example) Start IP Address ââ¬â 10.0.0.2 b. (example) End IP Address ââ¬â 10.0.0.254 c. (example) Subnet Mask ââ¬â 255.255.255.0 9. Click ââ¬ËApplyââ¬â¢ at the button of the page to save the configuration 10. Back in ââ¬ËNetwork Connectionsââ¬â¢, select the new rule to edit it, it may be named ââ¬ËEthernet 2ââ¬â¢, rename it ââ¬ËVLAN xââ¬â¢ (x = the VLAN ID number) if you wish, and click ââ¬ËApplyââ¬â¢ to save the change Part 2 ââ¬â Dedicating the Ethernet Port on the Switch 11. In ââ¬ËNetwork Connectionsââ¬â¢ again, click the ââ¬ËAdvancedââ¬â¢ button 12. In the ââ¬ËNetwork (Home/Office)ââ¬â¢ section click ââ¬ËEthernetââ¬â¢ to edit it 13. Click the ââ¬ËSettingsââ¬â¢ button 14. On ââ¬Ë4 Ports Ethernet Switchââ¬â¢ select ââ¬ËShowââ¬â¢ 15. Open and edit the port (1-4) that you want to assign the VLAN to 16. In ââ¬ËPort Settingsââ¬â¢ change the ââ¬ËIngress Policyââ¬â¢ to ââ¬ËTagged

CORRECT : A recent study examines how religious and spiritual beliefs can impact our health in different ways. INCORRECT: Awakening of Religious Believes of Islam- Facebook page title. CORRECT : Awakening of Religious Beliefs of Islam INCORRECT: Why do I mention believes, I really meanà religious believes, because more or less we have been forced to belief that a supernatural world doesnt exist, or it is aà world where only godââ¬â¢s reside.- Paul J. Believe is a verb. Its principal parts are believe/believes, believed, (has) believed. Belief is a noun. Paul Brians (Common Errors in English Usage) sums up the difference nicely: People canââ¬â¢t have religious ââ¬Å"believesâ⬠; they have religious beliefs.
